Suggestions on children’s books and gift cards
My comments are based on U.K. And U.S. website purchasing experience; not customer service.
Overall, the website is good, but I have two suggestions... Read Morefor improvement.
(1) offer children’s books for sale. I quite often end up going to Amazon to buy them, and while there, it is easier to get other children’s gifts too, and buy everything in one place. Wicked Uncle thus misses out on sales of books and the other items.
(2) I recently sent a ÂŁ50 gift card to a grandson, as I have done this for another grandchild, and it was well received. It appeared however, that the boy would receive a list of all items to choose from; not a list for 11-year-old boys. M y suggestion is to prompt the present-giver to enter a gender and age so the recipient will receive a tailored list. Next best would be to prompt the gift card recipient to enter their age and gender, I may have misunderstood, but my suggestion would still serve to clarify the process, especially if it is described when a gift card is selected.
